Brief Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Fire System Technician at RayFire Services based in North Shields. The successful applicant will have excellent long-term prospects, with the opportunity to develop into a Lead Technician as the company continues to grow.
Training to be Provided
- Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Will attend day release at Access Training based in Team Valley, Gateshead – 1 day per week/fortnight

There is an excellent opportunity to develop within the company for the right candidate who is enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills. The successful applicant would have excellent long-term prospects, with the opportunity to develop as a Lead Technician for the company as it continues to grow.
Vacancy Detail
Main Duties:
- Supporting the Technicians in the installation, servicing/maintaining and commissioning of fire alarm systems
- Use of hand tools, test equipment and Laptops
- Completion of all relevant site paperwork on a smartphone
- Working to company procedures and following all health & safety guidelines
- Provide excellent service to customers, building solid working relationships
These duties are not exhaustive, and other duties may be required from time to time. It is also anticipated that the duties will progress over time.
A driving licence and access to one's own vehicle would be preferred but is not essential for the right candidate who is looking to achieve this within an agreed timescale.
Probationary period applies.
Other Information
This is a field-based position, so you must be able to travel to a central point or to the site.
Please note that you may be required to work in small spaces or at height.
