Qualifications Required

If the apprentice does not already have GCSE grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), they will study for Functional Skills as part of the apprenticeship.

Yume Nursery and Preschool offers a comprehensive and well-rounded education, with a strong emphasis on cultural awareness and language learning—Spanish is integrated into daily sessions through play and song. As an apprentice, you will support qualified educators in delivering age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, helping children learn and develop in a safe, inclusive environment. Your responsibilities will include observing and interacting with children, assisting with activity setup, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting developmental record-keeping. You’ll follow daily routines, help manage health and safety standards, and contribute to a positive team environment. Under supervision, you’ll assist with communication to parents, conduct safety checks, and uphold safeguarding and GDPR policies. You’ll also help track resources, support junior team members, and participate in team meetings. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards your qualification in a nurturing, multicultural setting.
