Brief Description
Northern Skills is recruiting on behalf of Display Manager Ltd for an audiovisual technician apprentice. You would primarily be working on site as part of a team delivering high-quality corporate AV solutions in both first fix (construction site) and second fix (finished premises) environments.
Training to be Provided
- Audio Visual Level 5 Apprenticeship Standard
- Online Day release once a week

- Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available
Vacancy Detail
- Permanent Installation of AV equipment such as video monitors, conferencing equipment, ceiling-mounted projectors, on-wall/in-ceiling speakers, video walls, equipment racks, etc.
- Cable termination, RJ45, BNC, XLR, Jacks, Phono RCA, D type, UHF/sat etc.
- Liaising with those in your team, clients, principal contractors, and other trades
- Preparation of equipment and tools to be delivered to the site
- Shadowing and helping with the commissioning of equipment
