Brief Description
If you are good with numbers, like to keep things balanced, and have an interest in accounting, this apprenticeship provides you with the skills and qualifications required to start your accounting career. The role includes producing spreadsheets and timetables for staff members and ensuring training lists from Centre Managers are updated.
Training to be Provided
Training to be provided:
Accounting Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- Bookkeeping transactions
- Bookkeeping controls
- Elements of costing
- Using accounting software
- Working effectively in finance
Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
Future Prospects
- The candidate can choose to either progress into further training or full-time employment following successful completion of the apprenticeship
Vacancy Detail
- Producing spreadsheets and timetables for staff members
- Ensuring weekly in-training lists from Centre Managers is updated on a regular basis
- Preparing and maintaining files
- Sending out paperwork to main contractors
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding apprentice learner’s documentation and requirements
- Responsible for the running of the companies franking machine and photocopiers (ensuring all codes on the equipment and records are maintained)
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post for the finance department
- Any other duties required by the Finance & Data Performance Coordinator

The AAT training will be held from our Colindale Centre, NW9 6TD.
