Working Week: Working days will be discussed with the right candidate. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work a weekend day. General working hours are 8am-4pm
Brief Description
The employer Cloud Stables is looking for a keen apprentice to grow and develop within their team.
The location is a training and livery yard and currently consists of 23 horses.
Based in Arborfield in Reading.
This apprenticeship will allow the candidate to learn horse husbandry across a variety of breeds.
Training to be Provided
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours.
Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

- Progression to Level 3 Senior Groom
- Progression to a Business apprenticeship

Vacancy Detail
The team is small and friendly with 3 staff working a day at anytime.The location is currently opening a shop selling equestrian goods.
There is a possibility that the right candidate can also support and work in a customer service role within this capacity.
Your main role will be the care and welfare of the horses duties include:-
- Grooming
- Turning out/in
- Rugging up
- Mucking out
- Feeding
There is also the opportunity for the right candidate to come along to off-site training & shows.
