Brief Description

As an apprentice, you will work within a company, gaining practical experience. You will develop new skills while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Training to be Provided

Formal training is delivered at HWGTA, located in Hereford (HR4 9SX) / HWGTA located in Worcester (WR4 9GN):


Level 3 comprises of:


Duration approximately 40-45 months.


Year 1 includes 26-42 weeks off the job training to cover practical and theory aspects.


Year 2 would include 1 day per week to complete EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering – Development Knowledge.


Years 2,3&4 will be based in company developing skills in preparation for the end point assessment to gain your Engineering & Manufacturing Support Technician Level 3 qualification.


You will receive monthly visits from your assigned Learning and Development Specialist, who will set you work, monitor your development and wellbeing, and discuss training sessions. They will also prepare you for your End Point Assessment.

  • We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice to join our dynamic team

  • During the first two years, as you work towards obtaining your apprenticeship qualifications, we will assess the areas in which you may excel

  • You will learn all about our equipment with training provided onsite and at our HQ in Italy. A second language in French or Italian would be useful, however not essential

  • We are looking for an individual who can grasp the technical aspects and processes of our equipment, providing a strong foundation for success in any area of our business, whether in sales or on the service side

  • During your training, you will be expected to assist other engineers on-site across the UK

  • Therefore, you must be prepared to undertake regional assignments as required

Other Information

During your employment, there will be the expectation to complete training at our headquarters in Italy, as well as assisting engineers on-site. This will provide valuable hands-on experience and enhance your technical skills.
