Working Week: Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.00pm, Friday, 8.00am to 3.30pm. Occasional rota to work late shift however plenty of notice is given.
Brief Description
This is a learning role leading to becoming a skilled engineer (CNC,Machining/Fabrication/Welding/Design) after completion of formal and practical training both at college and at bott.
We are looking for someone with a passion for engineering. You will need to have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn.
Training to be Provided
- An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
- At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying
Future Prospects
- We have many qualified apprentices here at Bott Ltd who have taken various career paths from design office, production supervisor / manager roles, operational management roles
Vacancy Detail
Main duties will be:
- Observing, learning and understading a range of engineering skillls and processes
- Demonstating these skills and processes, independently or with a team
- Sucessfully complete courses throughout the training period
- Learning and understanding the immportance of Health and Safety
- Maintaining workshop equiptment and keep it in good repair
- Recording projects and skills learnt
