Brief Description
This opportunity offers the chance to become our newest apprentice, joining a strong group previously recruited from the college. We're confident the successful person will make a valuable contribution as we continue to deliver maintenance services for Control & Relief Valves. We will provide specialised training tailored to the role.
Training to be Provided
The Level 3 Engineering Fitter Standard is delivered in the workplace with 1 day a week attendance at college.
You will work towards gaining a Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship Standard and achieve the mandatory qualification below:
Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will continue employment with us.
Vacancy Detail
Stripping down of Valves and Relief Valves under supervision.
Shotblasting / Glassbeading and cleaning up of all parts ready for inspection.
Filling in the Maintenance Report form under supervision.
Other Information
This work will occasional involve working away from home for short periods of time under supervision once the apprentice gets to desired level.
