Working Week: Your contracted hours each week throughout your apprenticeship will be 39 hours. Working Pattern Monday - Thursday 7am-3.30pm, Friday 7am-2.30pm.
Brief Description
As a Laboratory/Quality Apprentice, or a Multi-Skilled Apprentice, you will assist qualified Laboratory Technicians, Quality inspectors with planned, reactive, and corrective Laboratory /Quality tasks.
Training to be Provided
Alongside your daily role, you will work to complete your apprenticeship with MGTS. You will be given 20% off the job hours. This will give you the knowledge, training and external approval to do your job effectively.
Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of the programme — and subject to performance — you may have the opportunity to move into a permanent role within the team or business area where you completed your apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
- This is a learning journey to become proficient in the Testing and inspection of manufacturing of a wide range of manufacturing components and materials.
- Encompassing Testing and inspection, while strictly adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Completing required documentation, both manually and digitally.
Other Information
Be at least 16 years of age when the apprenticeship starts.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Have been a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least the past three years prior to starting the apprenticeship.
Have completed full-time education before the apprenticeship is due to start.
For this programme, you must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance.
