Brief Description

A Quality Apprentice supports the quality team to ensure aircraft parts, assemblies, and processes meet customer, and regulatory requirements. You’ll learn how to inspect, record results, assist with investigations, and help maintain controlled documentation, contributing to safe, compliant, right-first-time aerospace manufacturing.

Training to be Provided

Alongside your day role, you will work to complete your apprenticeship with Coventry University. You will be given 20% off the job hours, this will give you the knowledge, training and external approval to do your job effectively.

Vacancy Detail


  • Support non-conformance processes: logging defects, segregation, and assisting with / conducting root-cause investigations (e.g., 5 Whys).

  • Collaborating and partnering with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement and Zero Defects workstreams.

  • Assist with assurance activities, including but not limited to, internal audits, process checks, and housekeeping/5S to maintain compliance.

  • Help maintain document control (procedures, work instructions, revisions) and traceability.

  • Perform basic inspection activities (visual, dimensional, and documentation checks) under supervision.

  • Supporting and maintaining Material Review Board (MRB) clinics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Other Information


  • Be at least 18 years old when the apprenticeship begins.

  • Have the right to work in the UK.

  • Have been a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least the past three years prior to starting the apprenticeship.

  • Have completed full-time education before the apprenticeship is due to start. For this programme, you must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance.
