Brief Description
During this apprenticeship you will report to the Jackson's London Office. This opportunity will provide excellent training in the production of technical drawings, lift layout drawings, and engineering documentation that supports the manufacture, installation and modernisation of lifts.
Training to be Provided
Full training and support will be given via work-based learning. The successful applicant will be expected to achieve the following:
- Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Technical Support
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacture Engineering (AME)
Future Prospects
- The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to continue their development and become a member of a team of technicians. This will enable them to provide a range of support activities to engineers and other members of staff
Vacancy Detail
Duties will include:
- Producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings
- Prepare and update General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- Assist senior designers in developing detailed component drawings and modifications
- Gain a strong understanding of lift industry standards
- Gain a strong understanding of lift components and mechanical/electrical interfaces

- Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day a week)
