Brief Description
Work for Verian, one of the leading social research agencies in the UK. You will be carrying out research about subjects that really matter such as crime, education, homelessness, energy and climate change. Study for a degree over 4 years with no tuition fees, to gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to become a professional social researcher.
Training to be Provided
Over the course of 4 years, you will study the Level 6 applied social research standard, leading to a BSc honours degree with The University of Kent.
Teaching will be largely online with some face-to-face teaching, including an in-person residential week each year at the University of Kent in Canterbury. The course begins in September 2026.
Future Prospects
At the end of the 4-year programme, our apprentices will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent Social Research Executive role.
Vacancy Detail
Your role will be research and project coordination. This will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of projects and doing project management
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative research, including the creation of interview guides and questionnaires, doing interviews and focus groups, running surveys
- Analysing data and writing and presenting findings
