Brief Description
Astral Control Services works with smart building technology. We install and support computer systems that control heating, ventilation, lighting, and energy use in large buildings like offices, schools, and hospitals. We are looking for a Technical Support Apprentice to join our office team.

Full time position on complete on the apprenticeship for the right person.
Vacancy Detail
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll work from our office and help Astral engineers and customers when they have questions or problems with Astral systems and products. You won’t be expected to know everything straight away — we’ll train you.
Your main tasks will include:
- Answering phone calls and emails from engineers and customers
- Learning how to check building systems on a computer to make sure everything is working properly
- Helping experienced engineers find and fix problems (with support)
- Using computer programs to log problems and keep records
- Updating simple technical documents and drawings
- Occasionally visiting sites with an engineer to see how the systems work in real life
