Brief Description
This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience manufacturing high-quality steelwork in a professional fabrication workshop. You’ll learn welding, fabrication, and engineering skills from experienced tradespeople, gain recognised qualifications, and build a solid career with real progression opportunities in a growing company.

Vacancy Detail
- Assist experienced welders and fabricators in the manufacture of steel components
- Learn and carry out MIG/TIG welding under supervision
- Prepare materials by measuring, marking out, cutting and drilling steel sections
- Use hand tools and workshop machinery safely and correctly
- Read and work from engineering drawings and job sheets
- Carry out basic fabrication tasks such as tacking, grinding and finishing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Follow health, safety and quality procedures at all times
- Learn correct handling, storage, and identification of materials
- Learning to Operate a tube bending machine and a Robot welding machine

Being comfortable working in a workshop environment.
