Future Prospects
Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to a permanent Property Maintenance Operative role within the school or wider trust.
Vacancy Detail
- Assist with general maintenance and repair work around the school buildings.
- Help with plumbing, electrical, painting, and decorating tasks under supervision.
- Carry out regular checks on heating, lighting, and safety equipment.
- Support the site team with grounds maintenance and minor landscaping.
- Learn to follow health and safety procedures on all tasks.
- Help respond to maintenance requests from staff and students.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organised.
- Shadow experienced colleagues to develop practical trade skills.
Other Information
- The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
- Able to carry out tasks that involve manual handling, following training and safety guidance.
