Brief Description
An excellent introduction to a career as a CAD Technician. You will support Civil and Structural engineers by producing high-quality CAD drawings of a range of civil and structural engineering designs.
Training to be Provided
Training will take place via day release to Southampton Solent University during term time and on-the-job training during university breaks. You'll be working towards a Level 4 Civil Engineering Senior Technician Apprenticeship Standard. You need to live within commuting distance of our Basingstoke office and be able to get to Southampton by train or car once a week.
Future Prospects
Apprentices have the opportunity to continue studying and gain a B.Eng in civil engineering. Some students decide to stay with the business without gaining further qualifications, and we are also happy to support this.
