Brief Description
A great opportunity has come up for the successful candidate to join our friendly team at Brij Dhody Dental Practice. As an apprentice dental nurse, you will assist the dentist and undergo full training to develop skills to enable you to progress.
Training to be Provided
Your training plan:
- Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills maths and English (if required)
- This is a weekly day-release program where the apprentice attends one of PTP's centres to work towards their qualification in a classroom based environment
Future Prospects
- To be decided once applicant completed qualification
Vacancy Detail
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
Duties to include:
- Assisting the dentist chairside
- Updating Client records
- Cleaning and decontamination of tools
- Surgery
- Reception duties
- General admin duties
Other Information
Candidates will need to pass a DBS check to start the role, and will also be required to have relevant vaccinations such as Hep B and possibly Covid boosters.
