Brief Description

We're looking for an Electro-Mechanical Degree Apprentice to join our Natural Resources, Infrastructure team working on our prestigious Bridgwater Tidal Barrier project, working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Electro-Mechanical Engineering.

Vacancy Detail

As an Electro-Mechanical Degree Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BEng in Electro-Mechanical Engineering with our university partner, Nottingham, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.


You'll work closely with the Natural Resources, Infrastructure team to provide design, build and maintenance solutions to protect the UK's essential services and assets


Your day to day will include:



  • Assisting with the life cycle of design, procurement, installation through to commissioning of MEICA activities

  • Ensuring solutions are compliant with time, cost and quality

  • Assisting with documentation gathering and compliance with standards including CDM regulations 2015

  • Attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course

Other Information

To enrol onto your degree, you will need:



  • Driving Licence with access to own vehicle 

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Grade 4 or above in English Language and Grade 5 or above in maths

  • 3 A-levels (or equivalent) with at least a Grade B in A-level maths and two additional A-levels at Grade B (or equivalent)
