Working Week: Monday to Friday (flexible timings per day) (including time to attend Degree Apprenticeship with your Training Provider at Keele University.
Brief Description
Through a combination of on-the-job learning and practical skills development, you’ll work on real projects from day one that offer scale and variety, collaborating with others and creating meaningful impact on the world around us.
Training to be Provided
- Geoscientist (integrated degree) Level 6
Future Prospects
- Successful apprentices will gain a BSc (Hons) Geoscience (Degree Apprenticeship)
- At the end of the apprenticeship, candidates will also be expected (with our support and support of Keele), to be a position to apply for chartership with a professional body (Geological Society or Institution of Environmental Sciences)
Vacancy Detail
- The role will involve a mix of office and site-based land and environmental assessment tasks
- Learning and using relevant assessment and design software
Being involved in client meetings and assisting in building key client relationships - You’ll get to understand and learn digital skills, to help us harness technology in new ways
- Your mentors will support you as you study towards nationally recognised qualifications and accreditation
- You'll have dedicated time to spend on your university studies (averages at 1-day per week/year)
Other Information
This can include working on open greenfield/construction sites/operational buildings for extended periods of time, involving some travel around the UK, for which it is essential that you have a valid UK driving licence. This mode of working provides for an invaluable varied experience of great benefit towards successfully completing your degree apprenticeship. Apprentices will need to be flexible to accommodate the needs of the business and training.
