Working Week: Your normal working hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Wednesday, Thursday 8am to 4:00pm with a half an hour unpaid lunch break each day and Friday 8 to 3:30pm, with half an hour unpaid lunch break.
Brief Description
As an Apprentice Engineer, you’ll learn to service, repair and diagnose Volvo construction equipment, support workshop and on site tasks, complete accurate paperwork, follow safety standards and develop your skills through hands‑on and formal training.
Training to be Provided
- Construction Equipment Maintenance Technician Level 3
- Block training at least 8 weeks each year at SMT Academy, Duxford, Cambridge and The Sheffield College.

- Assist with servicing, repairing and diagnosing equipment failings
- Follow instructions from engineers and line managers

- Stage 1 of the selection process - Assessment centres will be held at our SMT Academy, Duxford, Cambridgeshire between 26 and 29 May 2026
- Stage 2 of the selection process - Interviews will take place at the local customer support centres
- A full UK Driving license
