Brief Description

This entry-level role is designed to provide hands-on experience across core HR functions, contributing to the smooth running of the department while developing essential skills for a future career in HR.

Training to be Provided

HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:



  • As part of this apprenticeship, the apprentice will study the Foundation Certificate in People Practice accredited by the CIP


Apprentices will be required to attend a series of workshops to study 4 mandatory modules:



  • Business, Culture and Change in Context

  • Principles of Analytics

  • Core Behaviours for People Professionals

  • Essentials of People Practice


HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:



  • You will also receive full training and support from the apprenticeship team to increase your skills

  • Your training will include gaining a Level 3 HR Support qualification

Vacancy Detail


  • Primarily office-based with frequent movement around site for meetings, inductions, and employee interactions

  • Occasional lifting or carrying of files and training materials

  • Maintain HR records and update employee databases

  • Support onboarding and induction processes for new starters

  • Assist with recruitment administration (posting jobs, scheduling

  • interviews, communicating with candidates)

  • Help organise training sessions and track attendance/completion

  • Respond to routine HR queries from staff and escalate as needed

  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration

  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives

  • Balancing multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy HR environment

  • Learning new HR systems and processes quickly

  • Handling confidential information with discretion

  • Adapting to changing priorities and requests
