Brief Description
Our apprenticeship gives people a chance to start an exciting career while earning a full-time wage. Duties include booking customers in for eye tests, pre-screening, and recommending suitable frames. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing great customer service & would like to pursue a career in optics.
Training to be Provided
- Level 3 Optical Assistant Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- Full-time 5 out of 7 days - including weekend working
- Daily on-the-job training in store - no college to attend
- Training provider - Specsavers Optical Superstores Limited
- Training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date
Future Prospects
Once you have completed the apprenticeship, you'll be a fully qualified Level 3 Optical Assistant with a massive range of career options ahead of you.
