Working Week: Regular pattern of days– 2 week rota– alternate weekend working. 4 days week 1/ 5days week 2 Approx Start and Finish times– 7.30am- 5.00pm
Brief Description
To be involved in all aspects of the kennels. Split between indoor and outdoor working. Handling all breeds of dogs. walking twice daily. Working as a team. Dealing with customers, checking in and out of the dogs.
Training to be Provided
Typical training will consist of four days per week in the workplace gaining practical, on-the-job experience, and one day per week in the classroom completing the knowledge-based learning and off-the-job training required for the apprenticeship.

Weekend work will be required as part of this role.
The position is based in a rural location with limited public transport. Applicants must ensure they can reliably travel to both the workplace and the training provider in line with working hours.
If shortlisted, you may be asked to attend more than one interview and will also complete a college interview as part of the apprenticeship enrolment process.
This is a physically demanding role and will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions. The role may include standing for long periods, lifting materials, using equipment and tools, and working in environments that may involve heat, cold, heights, or chemicals.
