Working Week: Monday - Saturday, 10am - 6pm. Hours will vary. Total hours including day release will be 30.
Brief Description
Shine hair and beauty offers a range of hair services and beauty treatments. We stock matrix retail products for hair and Tropic skincare.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
Future Prospects
To progress to Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist.
Vacancy Detail
The apprenticeship training programme will last 15 months, and you will study towards achieving the Level 2 apprenticeship in Beauty Therapy.
You will train one day a week at our state-of-the-art college located in Macclesfield, with a view to achieving your apprenticeship qualification as well as continuing your training in the salon.
This would include:
- Prepare customers for nail treatments etc.
- Reception duties.
- Meet and greet customers.
- Maintain a clean salon.
- Provide refreshments to the customers.
Treatments that you will learn and eventually deliver.
- Hair Removal.
- Tanning.
- Gel Nails.
- Hands and Feet (Manicure / Pedicure).
- Massages.
- Facials.
- Skin Treatments / Skin Peels.
