Brief Description
Thyme Care Ltd is a dedicated home care agency based in Penzance, Cornwall, specialising in personalised and holistic care solutions. They are offering an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team as an Adult Care Worker apprentice!
Training to be Provided
- Apprenticeship Standard: Level 2 Adult Care Worker
- You will be required to attend St Austell College a day a week as part of your apprenticeship training
- You will receive on and off-the-job training and support from an assessor and an Apprenticeship advisor
Future Prospects
- On the completion of your apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress within the business, eventually as a Senior Carer or Supervisor
- Opportunities to springboard to an NHS career
Vacancy Detail
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing personal care
- Meal preparation
- Companionship
- Escorting service users when shopping
- Light domestic duties
- Oversee medication
- End of life care
Other Information
The apprentice must either have a driving licence or own transport around the Penzance area.
Moving and handling will be required in the role.
The apprentice must be honest and trustworthy, able to work alone and within a team and be able to undertake regular mandatory training.
