Brief Description
Working alongside qualified technicians who will be dealing with all aspects of the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles. Inspecting and repairing a range of heavy vehicles (HVs) and trailers for dealerships, independent garages and franchise and large fleet operators.
Training to be Provided
Not only will Apprentices be working and be trained at an Iveco garage, but they will also attend our Iveco Academy in Winsford Training Centre to train towards their Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification.
An advisor will visit at least every six weeks as part of a close support network to ensure that Apprentices are both enjoying and succeeding in their course.
An apprentice’s training includes:
- Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Standard Level 3 qualification
- Functional skills if needed in maths & English
Future Prospects
- Going on to either a Master Tech, Service Team Leader or Manager role could be a real possibility for the right candidate
