Working Week: Monday to Thursday (08.45 to 17.15). Friday (08.45 to 16.45). One hour lunch break.
Brief Description
This is an Apprentice role, working alongside experienced specialists who will help you build confidence, learn business skills and understand how to grow your career. The work is fast‑paced, varied and focused on making Blaby District Council a great place to work.
Training to be Provided
The candidate will complete an apprenticeship within the agreed-upon subject for the vacancy. This may include a BTEC Diploma/Standard and End Point Assessment. It may also include Functional Skills in maths and English.
Employer training will be provided through induction and support from the Line Manager.
The Apprentice at the end of this qualification will achieve a Level 3 Learning and Development Apprenticeship Standard.

Your responsibilities will be varied, including:
- Planning, co‑ordinating and delivering learning workshops and staff events
- Supporting our e‑learning platform and keeping training records accurate
- Creating engaging content to promote learning opportunities
- Helping design a digital learning hub that’s easy to use and visually appealing
- Working with specialists to support staff development, wellbeing and retention
