Working Week: However can be reduced to 12 months if you have prior learning or have completed the Autocare Apprenticeship (judged on an individual basis) Monday to Friday - Times to be confirmed. Possible weekend work.
Brief Description
A Motor Mechanic Apprentice (L3) services and repairs light vehicles and works either in dealerships or independent garages. Work ranges from replacing simple parts to solving complex faults. Holder of a Level 2 qualification with 6 months+ garage experience, can have the opportunity to earn a salary and gain a Level 3 qualification.
Training to be Provided
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Future Prospects
Following the completion of your Advanced Apprenticeship (12 months), there are then a number of opportunities for progression within the Motor Industry, including (but not limited to): MOT Tester, EV, Hybrid or Senior Technician or Workshop Manager.
