Working Week: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime available (including weekends and bank holidays).
Brief Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining your HGV licence, Driver CPC and industry-recognised qualification, all while working in a hands-on delivery role at Harpers Feeds, a
leading family-owned manufacturer of high quality animal feed delivering to trade and farm customers throughout the South West.
Training to be Provided
As part of your employment, you will be enrolled in a Level 2 Urban Driver Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with Trans Plant Mastertrain. Throughout the programme, you will develop valuable industry knowledge and practical skills, including achieving your LGV Category C licence and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
All training will take place within your normal working hours. You will be supported throughout your learner journey by a dedicated mentor at Harpers Feeds, as well as a Skills Officer from Trans Plant Mastertrain,
ensuring guidance and support at every stage, so it is a really great way to earn while you learn!
Future Prospects
Progress on to a full time, permanent contract as a HGV driver.
