Other Information

Groundworks are a physically demanding, outdoor role carried out in all weather conditions. Days may involve early starts and long hours on active construction sites, with tasks including manual labour such as lifting, digging and handling materials. Work can be muddy, noisy and repetitive, requiring focus, teamwork and reliability.

There is no central yard or office, as work begins directly on site. Own transport is beneficial; however, for those living locally to DN19, a lift may be arranged.

Safety is critical, and strict health and safety procedures must be followed at all times. Progression comes through hard work, consistency and a willingness to learn.
