Brief Description

Support the general farm worker across arable operations. Duties include grass cutting, baling, spraying, cultivation and grain store work. Assist with machinery use, GPS systems, basic maintenance, logistics and boundary work. Gain hands-on experience across a modern arable farming business.

Training to be Provided


  • Apprentices typically spend 4 days in the workplace gaining hands-on experience, alongside 1 day in college to support their learning

Future Prospects


  • Opportunity to progress onto a Level 3 apprenticeship and secure full-time employment

  • Build experience from the ground up with clear progression into more senior and potentially management roles
