Working Week: The salon opening hours are: Monday- Saturday from 8.30am/9.00am - 5.30pm (7.00pm on Wednesdays). Shifts and rotas will be arranged within these hours.
Brief Description
Inkfish are offering a fantastic opportunity to gain a Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship for a well-presented, self-motivated individual to join them in their popular, established Truro salon. The successful candidate will be assisting and learning from the experienced stylists within the team.
Training to be Provided
- You will be working towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard in Hairdressing.
- This apprenticeship consists of a mixture of off the job training and on the job mentoring and development within the workplace.
- You will be expected to attend Cornwall College Camborne on a weekly basis, with additional attendance if functional skills are required.
Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, possible permanent position for the right candidate with opportunities to progress within the company.
Vacancy Detail
Daily duties to include but not limited to:
- Assisting stylists.
- Preparing trolleys.
- Watching/learning from experienced stylists.
- Training on models to begin before developing own client base.
- Cleaning duties within the salon.
