Brief Description

Work alongside the Head Stockperson supporting daily farm operations. Duties include feeding and bedding livestock, health checks, feeder replenishment, calving support, vaccinations, foot trimming, weighing and maintaining passports. Gain hands-on experience within a beef and arable farming environment.

Training to be Provided

Apprentices typically spend 4 days in the workplace gaining hands-on experience, alongside 1 day in college to support their learning.

Future Prospects

Opportunity to progress onto the next level apprenticeship and secure full-time employment. Build experience from the ground up with clear progression into more senior and potentially management roles.
