Brief Description
Deliver professional HVAC, M&E, and control system services. Support mechanical work delivery, assist site supervisors, and ensure projects are completed efficiently, effectively, and to high standards. Maintain compliance with regulations while working collaboratively to meet customer satisfaction.
Training to be Provided
- 1 day a week at college
Future Prospects
- This is a permanent position, with 90% of apprentices successfully completing the programme and progressing within the business
Vacancy Detail
- To Carry out installation and remedial works on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems within a live Data Centre environment under strict supervision
- Carry out all mechanical installations or repairs to plant in accordance with manufacturers schedules, EMCOR company standards & client’s requirements with the help of on-site designated mechanical fitters
- Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety requirements
- Ensure good relationships with site supervisors, fellow engineers, other apprentices & customers when conducting works on site
- Ensure acceptable standards of productivity and workmanship are maintained in the execution of work
- Work as part of a team to deliver an efficient and effective service to the client, customer and stakeholders
- Take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others around you is always considered when working on sites ensuring that other employees, customers or members of the public are not affected by your activities
- Carry out such duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by the Line Supervisor and / or other Senior Managers
- To read, understand & adhere to site RAMS for the work to be carried out & identify hazards to assist in the safe execution of site works
- To identify any shortfalls in training with your supervisor and to work with the administration teams to ensure these gaps are closed
- Maintain day-to-day contact with the site supervisor and attend meetings as directed

- Candidates must be willing to travel and will be assigned to work alongside an experienced engineer
