Working Week: Monday to Friday between 7.45am and 6.00pm on a Rota basis - All year.
Brief Description
Working full-time in a childcare setting, with 20% off-the-job training, combining practical experience with study to gain a recognised qualification. Allows individuals to earn a salary while gaining a nationally recognised qualification and hands-on experience.
Training to be Provided
- Training will take place on the job and once a month you will attend a virtual master class with your skills coach from the training provider

- Deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5
- Support children’s learning and development through planned activities and play
- Observe, record, and report on children’s progress
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
- Work as part of a team and follow guidance from qualified staff
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about children’s wellbeing
Other Information
- You will be required to pass an Enhanced DBS check
- Children can be demanding so you will need to be patient and caring at all times
- You must be available full time
- This isn't just a job it is an apprenticeship so you must be committed to completing the assignments, attending the masterclasses and getting your set work done on time as this can result in you failing your apprenticeship if you are not committed
