Working Week: Summer: Monday - Friday, 6.00am - 1.00pm. Winter: Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 2.00pm, over time on weekends shared. Saturday & Sunday: Summer, 6.00am - 8.00am. Winter, 7.00am - 9.00am.
Brief Description
The Club is recruiting a full-time Assistant Greenkeeper to support its commitment to delivering an outstanding golf experience. Working within a small team, the role offers opportunities to apply existing skills and contribute to ongoing course improvement projects.
Future Prospects
On completion a permanent role would become available.
Vacancy Detail
- Mowing fairways, rough and greens
- Roll greens
- Repair pitch marks
- Check for disease or damage
- Setting up a course, including hole changes, tee box changes and setting flag positions
- Empty and reposition bins around the course
- Check and refill ball washers
- Repair divots on tees and fairways
- Rake bunkers
- Edge bunker faces
- Check sand levels and top up if needed
- Strim around trees, paths, and signage
- Clear debris, leaves, and fallen branches
- Check and repair paths and walkways
- Maintain rough areas
Other Information
- A full driving licence desirable but not essential
- PA1, PA2 & PA6 and chainsaw qualifications desirable, but not essential
- Completely outdoor work and heavy lifiting
