Timbertree Neighbourhood Nursery are looking for a new Nursery Assistant Apprentice. You will be studying for your Early Years Educator apprenticeship L3

Vacancy Detail
This is an exciting opportunity to gain further experience while working towards a Level 3 qualification. You will work alongside a team of experienced staff in our baby room, who will support you throughout your training in a positive and busy nursery environment.
You will be working in our baby room (0–2 years) alongside an experienced team, gaining the knowledge and experience needed to complete your Level 3 qualification. You will use the EYFS framework to plan activities tailored to a small group of key children while working closely with parents to build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
What are the apprentice's responsibilities?
- Support the daily care routines of babies, including feeding, nappy changing, toileting, and sleep times.
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Observe, monitor, and record children’s development and progress.
- Act as a key person to a small group of children, building secure and positive relationships.
- Work closely with parents and carers, sharing information about their child’s day and development.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.
- Support children’s emotional well-being and help them to settle into the setting.
- Work as part of a team, taking direction from senior staff while developing professional skills.
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework towards the Level 3 qualification.
