Brief Description

Launch your career as a Signmaking Technician with Victory Design Ltd, a company with nearly 40 years of industry expertise. You’ll gain hands-on experience producing and installing high-quality signage, working with a range of materials, tools, and modern techniques.

Training to be Provided

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the qualification obtained will be a Level 3 Signage Technician Apprenticeship Standard. The apprentice will be given sufficient time to undertake their "off-the-job" requirement of the apprenticeship during their regular working hours.


Throughout your time as an apprentice, you will be supported by both your employer and BPIF Training.


You will be assigned a BPIF training coordinator to ensure that you have the best training available.


Training requirements will be discussed at the point of employment to suit your individual needs and business's needs. Most training and studying will be site-based.

Full time position is available after the apprenticeship.

Key duties and responsibilities:



  • Carry out site surveys and assess job requirements

  • Create production files

  • Select materials and manufacture/assemble signs

  • Finish signage (trimming, cleaning, adding fittings)

  • Install and erect signage on-site

  • Check quality of materials and finished products

  • Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment

  • Follow health & safety and environmental guidelines

  • Communicate with team members and complete job documentation

  • Identify and report or resolve issues
