Brief Description

The Dolls House Nursery are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship L2 or 3, dependent on prior qualifications/experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who has a passion to work with young children. The ideal candidate will be caring, motivated and able to use their initiative and have a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will join our friendly staff team in our city centre-based nursery which are in beautiful historic buildings.


Day-Day Responsibilities:



  • Assist team members in providing the highest standard of care and education for children during the daily operation of the nursery, including building positive partnerships with staff and parents

  • Liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment

  • Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures

  • Contribute ideas to planning to ensure children receive high-quality learning and development opportunities

  • Always meet health, safety, and environmental health requirements

  • Support children with their day-to-day physical needs, including feeding and personal care routines

  • Provide a range of fun and stimulating activities, from reading stories to messy play
