Future Prospects
- On successful completion of the course, the Apprentice moves on to become a 'Junior CNC Machinist' with the opportunity to become a fully skilled machinist
Vacancy Detail
- Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, etc.
- Safe and competent operation of manual machines and hand tools
- Reading and understanding of technical drawings
- Job planning, showing initiative and being part of a team
- Inspection of components using the latest equipment
- Undertakes standard responsibilities as and when required together with de-burring, tapping, shuffling, washing and cleaning finished parts, as necessary
