Brief Description
Ash & Lacy are seeking an Apprentice to work alongside their CNC Manager. In this role, you will learn how to program, set and operate CNC equipment to manufacture a variety of components. You will be responsible for quality by using a multitude of measuring and inspection equipment to qualify your own parts.
Training to be Provided
- Full Time: This is a Level 3 Tooling apprenticeship, delivered over a 30-month period.
- The apprentice will attend the training centre In-Comm Aldridge WS9 8UG for the first 7 months.
Future Prospects
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be a full-time position available at the company.
Vacancy Detail
Daily/Weekly Tasks
- Machining, servicing, building and modifying a variety of precision tools, jigs and fixtures.
- Carrying out planned maintenance department improvements, including 5s activities (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain).
- Communicating and reporting to the CNC Manager and department to support the department's function, including purchasing and receipting materials, BO Parts and ongoing consumables.
Other Information
- Previous hands-on experience is advantageous.
