Brief Description
We are a long-established, family-run SME with a strong reputation for quality and reliability in our field. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Fabrication Apprentice to join our team and develop practical skills within a supportive workshop environment.
Training to be Provided
Training will be delivered by Themis at Burnley College.
Training schedule to be confirmed on appointment.

Vacancy Detail
This role offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of fabrication, including working with a range of materials, tools, and machinery. Under the guidance of experienced fabricators, the apprentice will assist in the manufacture, assembly, and finishing of components, while gaining an understanding of technical drawings, health & safety standards, and production processes.
The successful candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and committed to building a career in fabrication. Over time, they will develop the skills and confidence to contribute to high-quality workmanship that reflects the company’s long-standing values.
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, bend, and assemble raw metal materials using tools and machinery.
- Reading Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Welding & Joining: (e.g., MIG, TIG)
- Equipment Maintenance: Set up, operate, and maintain fabrication tools and machinery, ensuring a clean and safe workspace.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
