Working Week: Monday to Friday, between 07:30 - 18:00. Shifts to be confirmed.
Brief Description
Apprentice early years educator required at Severn Lodge. We are looking for someone with a love of working with children, where you will gain the Level 3 qualification. You must have previous experience of working with children and have the Childcare Level 2 qualification.
Training to be Provided
- An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
- At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying

- To contribute to the room planning
- To understand the requirements of the EYFS, health and safety and Ofsted
- To liaise professionally and courteously with parents, children & colleagues
- To prepare daily activities for all children
- To interact effectively with all children
- To assist in the setting up of the room in the morning & throughout the day
- To encourage and support children to develop their language, motor and social skills
- To supervise indoor and outdoor play activities
- To supervise snack and mealtimes including cleaning
