Brief Description
Start your engineering career with Senstronics as a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprentice. Earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in fault-finding, repairs, and maintaining automated systems, with structured training towards a recognised qualification.
Training to be Provided
- In your first year, you’ll spend most of your time at the NC Group training centre, developing core mechanical, electrical, and engineering skills
- In year two, you’ll move onsite to Senstronics, applying your knowledge in a real manufacturing environment
Future Prospects
- On completion of the Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship, you could progress into a full-time maintenance engineering role, such as a Maintenance Technician or Engineer
- With experience, there are opportunities to develop into senior or specialist engineering positions within manufacturing and automation
Vacancy Detail
Year 1:
- In the first year you will spend the majority of your time completing a core skills and knowledge training programme at NC Group's Training Academy, covering essential mechanical, electrical, and engineering fundamentals
Years 2 - 4:
- You will be based at Senstronics, gaining hands-on experience while developing your skills to carry out a broad range of activities which may include installation, testing, fault finding, rectification, modifications and the on-going planned maintenance of complex automated equipment
- This requires the application of a blend of skills, knowledge and occupational behaviours across the electrical, electronic, mechanical, fluid power and control systems disciplines
