Brief Description

Incredible Kids Derby are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship Level 2 or 3 dependent on prior experience/qualifications.

Upon completion of this 12 month Apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Day-Day Responsibilities:



  • To provide the highest quality care and stimulating learning experience for children aged 3 months to 5 years

  • Be energetic and enthusiastic for providing quality care for our children

  • Produce and implement diverse and educational activities

  • To establish strong trusting relationships with parents/carers through building partnerships un order to meet their child’s needs

  • Show creativity within activities and play

  • To utilize organisation skills to provide a safe and inclusive environment

  • Communicate with colleagues, parents/carers about children’s day and progress

  • Have a deep understanding of planning, observing, assessing and record keeping of children’s development
