Working Week: 9:30am – 5:00pm, 3 days per week (days to be agreed with the learner), a 30-minute to 1-hour lunch break depending on the daily schedule (typically between 12.00pm - 1.00pm).
Brief Description
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from experienced professionals, develop practical animal care skills, and build a strong foundation for a future career within the animal care or veterinary sector.
Training to be Provided
- All training will be provided on-site during your paid working hours
- Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in-person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach
- Level 2 Animal Care apprenticeship
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required
Future Prospects
- Progression to the Level 3 Animal Care or other apprenticeship, and or possibility of full-time employment
Vacancy Detail
The apprentice will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting canine physiotherapy treatments, assisting with the preparation of equipment, handling and caring for dogs, and helping to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
