Brief Description
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. A great opportunity for an individual to be involved with a small manufacturing company with a friendly and relaxed working atmosphere and potential for career progression.
Training to be Provided
- The successful candidate will work towards achieving their Apprenticeship Standard in Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2
- A dedicated work-based trainer will be assigned to the candidate to provide them with support and guidance throughout the course
- This is a work-based programme with College attendance required once a month
- All learning will take place at the candidate's place of employment/College and within their contracted working hours

- Permanent position and career progression on successful completion of the Apprenticeship

Job Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- The candidate should have the ability to work in a team as well as carry out their own independent work and bring their own ideas and opinions forward to their peers
- The successful candidate should have a positive ‘can do’ attitude towards their work
- This is a 50:50 split between desk and active role moving around the factory
- Previous use of an MRP software program is beneficial but not essential
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Looking after goods-in, unpacking and locating parts in the correct places
- Assisting with spare parts sales by locating the parts, packaging and shipping
- Speaking to customers regarding spare parts
- Speaking to suppliers regarding goods-in
- Ordering parts from suppliers
