Working Week: Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 4.00pm. Friday, 8.00am - 3.00pm.
Brief Description
Immediate start to join our small and friendly team within a well-established nursery in Prestwich. You will be working in the nursery alongside a professional and experienced team, learning a range of skills to develop a career working in an Early Years setting. You will receive high-quality training in all aspects of child care.
Training to be Provided
- Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- College attendance is required one day a month.
Future Prospects
On successful completion of your apprenticeship you may be offered a permanent contract.
Vacancy Detail
You will be trained to a high standard in all duties required of you involving keeping the children safe and enhancing their learning and play. This will include:
- Ensuring the safety of children at all times
- Supervising outdoor play
- Supervising snacks and lunch
- Supporting development through play
- Carry out activities with the children
- Preparing and feeding children
- Keeping the nursery clean
- To attend additional mandatory training to help with the role and ongoing CPD
- Ensuring Safeguarding Procedures are followed
- You will be supported throughout your training
