Working Week: The apprentice will be working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the setting's opening hours of 6:00am and 8:00pm.
Brief Description
This qualification covers knowledge of children from birth to 7 years, focusing on ages 0-5. You'll gain practical experience, be assessed on-site, and complete written tasks, with support from your assessor via an online platform. Upon completion, you will qualify as a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner.
Training to be Provided
- The Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship standard is to be undertaken in the nursery setting, without the need to attend a college setting
- Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English to be undertaken if required
