Brief Description

Bunny Run Nursery has an opportunity for a Nursery Apprentice at their Eridge Green setting. They provide a warm, caring, safe environment, situated in an idyllic setting which allows every child to learn, grow and have fun every day. You'll carry out delegated tasks and actively engage in all academic and practical aspects of your apprenticeship.

Qualifications Required

To hold or be able to achieve English and mathematics GCSEs at level C or above

Skills Required

Empathy and understanding of children under five.

Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Transition to study Level 3 EY Apprenticeship and following this, Full time employment as Nursery Practitioner

The Early Years Apprentice at Bunny Run nursery is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality learning, development, and care for children aged 0–5 years within a preschool nursery setting.
The role involves contributing to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, staff, and visitors, while promoting positive relationships with parents and carers to support each child’s development, under the guidance of the Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a high standard of care, learning, and development for children aged 0–5 years
• Maintain a safe and secure nursery environment for children, staff, and visitors
• Build positive partnerships with parents and carers to support children’s development
• Carry out tasks as directed by the Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager
